OPEN CALL Scholarships

Crafting the Future (CTF) provides emerging, mid-career, and established artists of color with opportunities that help plant their roots in the craft community and propel their careers.

For 2026, we are excited to continue our Craft Workshop Scholarship program in partnership with both Penland School of Craft (Penland, NC) and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts (Deer Isle, ME). We are accepting applications from BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People Of Color)-identifying artists who seek to participate in a 2026 Summer craft workshop. This application opens on Saturday, November 1, 2025 and closes after Monday, December 1, 2025 11:59pm PST.

Decisions announced by December 10, 2025.
